Klaus Peter John

Biography: Born January 12th 1960 in Leipzig. Apprenticeship in Wood-technics (Theaterwerkstätten), 1976 evening classes HGB Leipzig with G. Thielemann; 1989 study for social-cultural work, as Sound-Noise-Performance Artist.

Workspaces: Sound-Noise; konceptionell work in open spaces; installations; Land Art Projects; Production from audio material; Movie-Sounds; Live-Koncerts; Photography; from 1998 intensive co-operation with A. Guhlmann.

Memberships: since 1986 'Freundeskreis der Denkmalschmiede Höfgen', 1991–2012 on the board of 'Gesellschaft für Landeskultur'.

Study Tours: Northern Irland, Poland, Scotland, New Zealand, Easter Islands, Bulgaria, Chile, Hungary, Antarctica and France.

Workplace: Installation Spender since 2001 in 'Botanischer Garten der Universität Leipzig' (Germany); 'Deutsche Nationalbibliothek Leipzig' (Germany); Medien-Kunst-Buch “Die Glocke” in Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum
